Graggle Simpson, also known as Gumbly Simpson or other nicknames, is a fan-created concept of a character that apparently appeared in the American sitcom The Simpsons.

Simply put, Gumbly is a popular meme. He is being passed off as example of a "Mandela effect" where people incorrectly remember facts, events, etc. In Gumbly's case, people claim to remember his appearances in the show, while others are certain that all of the scenes that he appeared in are simply photoshopped.
Regarding his photoshopped appearances, Gumbly is typically seen alongside other members of the Simpsons family. His exact relationship with each family member remains unknown. Apparently, he apparently stopped appearing in modern episodes of the show due to negative reception.
Gumbly is shown as a simplistic yellow humanoid subject, completely naked with a large mouth and three hairs on his head. Of course, this creates a stark contrast to the other characters, who are considerably better stylized and obviously wear clothes.

Although the character was expanded upon and hit viral levels of popularity in 2022, the earliest mentions of Gumbly date to 2015. An anonymous user on the Japanese textboard 2channel added a version of the character referred to as "Nan-j min" to screenshots of The Simpsons, with Nan-j min being a mascot of the site’s /livejupiter/ textboard (nicknamed "Nan-j") at the time. The earliest references to the character in English date from early 2021 on 4chan, in a post that establishes the prior aspect of Gumbly being intended as a self-insert of creator Matt Groening. This explains some alternative nicknames that have surfaced, including "Yellow Matt" and "Weird Matt."
