Trivia[]

  • The comic is obviously based on the main plot of the iCarly episode iMust Have Locker 239. Originally, the locker was demolished in a similar way as the iCarly episode (a vehicle drives into the side of the school and takes out most of the wall) but GTA Nerd edited it years later as the original ending was nonsensical:

Mark Sanders drives through the school with his mom's car to pick up Kate and they drive off. Locker 239 as well as many other lockers are destroyed. Joel gets commeupance for annoying Packie throughout the comic as he gets ran over by the car.

  • In the iCarly episode, this was humorous and fit the show's bizarre nature because Sam Puckett's mother had laser eye surgery yet was driving. However, considering how SR is more grounded in realism, GTA Nerd realized how awful it is that 8 year-old Mark would be driving and not care about the property damage and injury to Joel that he caused.

Joel gives up the locker to Packie, but Packie opens it and realizes Joel left him a cherry bomb. The bomb explodes and destroys this side of the school. Just like the original ending, Principal Green is furious at Packie and drags him away as he believed he did it. Joel also gets his commeupance as he laughs from another side of the school, but as the smoke from the explosion activates the sprinklers, he gets drenched.

  • This comic marked the first appearance of Mark Sanders, who did not physically appear again until Season 3 comic "Field Trip Gone Wrong!".
  • This is the first comic to take place entirely at Wisconsin Elementary School, over a course of three days. The next comic would be the Season 5 comic "The Lockdown".
  • This is the first comic where Maureen does not physically appear in, although her voice was "heard" on Packie's phone when she calls him after he arrives at school.
