Santiago Guzman appears as a minor character in Sibling Rivalries. He is the father of Braulio Guzman and Armando Vasquez, having adopted the latter.

Santiago Guzman, along with his wife Carmen, make their official debuts in the main series comic "The Return of Armando Vasquez". The family decide to join Salvador Rosales and the rest in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Mr and Mrs Guzman do not appear for the rest of the series, until a cameo in the long grocery line comic at the Ultra-Mart in the Season 12 comic "The Longest Line". Their third appearance (albeit as another cameo) is in the 100th comic.
