Character Appearances

♥ = character's debut
♠ = character does not speak throughout comic
♣ = character is mentioned only
♦ = character appears in a speaking/non-speaking cameo only

  • This comic marks the first appearance of Steve Madison the 7th Grader, although he appears less often than other characters.
  • Besides Packie, Joel, and Steve, it is unknown who else ran for school president.
    • If Steve has excessive detentions, like Mr. Leone said, then he should not even be able to run for president.
  • This is the first comic after Angel and Salvador were removed from the series' main cast, the reason being so the comics can focus more on the five siblings. However, the two will still regularly appear in the series.
  • Running Gag: Steve refusing to take a shower after gym class.
  • This is the fourth comic to have "McReary" in the name ("The McRearys Get Schooled!", "Gonzales Vs. McReary", "The McRearys' Halloween Special!"). It is also the third comic to have a character's first and last name in the title. ("Sibling Rivalries: Salvador Real's Adventures", "A Day With Drew Brees")
  • The plot is similar to that of Locker 239. In both comics, Packie wins something in both comics (the locker in the earlier comic, and being president in this comic), and Joel Gonzales is involved in the plot. He was originally going to be vice president, but it was changed so the vice president is unknown, and Joel was an enemy once again.
  • Derrick is the only sibling that does not speak in this comic. This is the fourth comic that he does not talk in. ("Dodgeball Mishap", "Not Afraid (Of Losing My Concert Tickets)", "Field Trip Gone Wrong!").
