Trivia[]

  • Unfortunately, like many other old comics, GTA Nerd is upset when looking back on this comic from an adult's perspective, because Packie does very little with his power as school president. Apparently, he is still the school president in present day, but it is unknown how he has managed to change the school.
  • This comic marks the first appearance of the infamous Steve Madison, who would not appear again until Season 5.
  • Besides Packie, Joel, and Steve, it is unknown who else ran for school president.
    • If Steve has excessive detentions, like Mr. Leone said, then he should not even be able to run for president. Similarily, Joel is also a delinquent in school and should not be an elgible canidate.
  • Running Gag: Steve refusing to take a shower after gym class.
  • This is the fourth comic to have "McReary" in the name ("The McRearys Get Schooled!", "Gonzales Vs. McReary", "The McRearys' Halloween Special!"). It is also the third comic to have a character's first and last name in the title. ("Sibling Rivalries: Salvador Real's Adventures", "A Day With Drew Brees")
  • Derrick is the only sibling that does not speak in this comic. This is the fourth comic that he does not talk in. ("Dodgeball Mishap", "Not Afraid (Of Losing My Concert Tickets)", "Field Trip Gone Wrong!").
  • Until Season 8 comic "Tales of the Insomniac" (and then Season 9 comic "Home Sweet Home" that was even shorter), this was the last comic of the series to be less than ten pages long.
