Trivia[]

  • The game that the boys want is named Battle Bots: Ultimate Wipeout, which is said to be a battle royale type game where players control cute robots (actually Cletus Comics characters) and must all race through obstacle courses to see who gets to the end first. The game is a stand-in for real life 2020 game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which has since then had its named shortened to Fall Guys and became free-to-play.
  • This comic marks the first appearance of Salvador's mother, and Eduardo and Claude's father since the Season 6 comic "Kate and Mark's Mall Madness", back from 2018.
  • It is revealed that Angel is poor and lives in a trailer (with Zoe being the only way he is able to afford more expensive items like a PS4, phone bill, or his new outfit since "Torres and Tribulations"), which GTA Nerd wanted to touch on earlier on in Season 9, but could not write a strong enough story about this.
  • This comic was released exactly seven years after "San Salvador's Story".
